Where does the data come from?
Mecklenburg County's public building permit feed, updated daily. It covers permits that require a certificate of occupancy, which averages about 124 new permits a month countywide, so most days bring a handful of permits, not hundreds. Trade-only permits (for example a standalone HVAC or electrical permit) are not in this feed. We are not affiliated with the county or the City of Charlotte.
Is every lead a job?
No. Trade tags come from the permit type and work description. They point to likely follow-on work, not confirmed jobs.
Do leads include phone numbers or emails?
No. County permit records include the address, permit details and usually the owner name, but no phone number or email.
How many permits will I get?
The county feed averages about 124 new permits a month across all of Mecklenburg County. You see the ones that match your trades and ZIPs, so a narrow trade or a few ZIPs may mean only a few matches a week, and some days none.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime, with no contract, from Settings → Manage billing. You keep access through the end of the month you've paid for.
Refunds?
We don't refund partial months. [TODO: confirm refund policy]
